You start the game off as a Battle Punks and for the first time you enter the game, you will notice the character creation screen in front of you. This is where you will choose to be either male or female battle punk. You will then get a choice to choose how you would like him or her to look during the game Intermountain bill pay . The character customization is not permanent and can be change later on during the game.
After the character selection screen, player will be introduced to the game control. The tutorial will guide players through the interface one step at the time. After you get familiarize with the control you will then be able to know how the fighting is like in this game. (Not much need to learn since the game will automatically take control over your punk during combat)
The fight is all automated by the game AI and all player have to do is sit back and watch! Oh yeah, do not forget to cheer for your punk! The battle system is very interesting really, although players cannot control their character. The system seems to be rather smart to choose the most powerful weapon you have. From there, it will depend on the items you bring into the battle (however at times, your punk may actually choose the wrong weapon during the start). You can have special power up for shields, weapons and potions. During the battle, player will notice that their punks will sometimes lose their weapons and draw out the next best weapon to fight. Unless your punk is totally out of weapon to choose from the game will go into a fist fight (literately).
The game does have some problem; the fight is all depends on luck and choosing the correct opponent. At times your Punk will just waste health potions without thinking. I do mean without thinking! You may notice that at times, even 1 hit from your punk, he or she pop out a fresh bottle of health potion to drink, wasting a valuable potion! Additional to that, after advancing to the next map, battle does get a lot harder. You will notice that your opponent will keep knocking off all your weapons even when they are using normal weapon to fight you. This get really annoying that even a low level player can beat your high level character with better weapons and stats.
Now after the battle is over, if you win, you reward will be shown on the screen along with additional loot. If you lose, you will still get your reward, just a little less. Weird as this game is a bit merciful to players.
Game matches is arranged in a set of 3, meaning that in each battle you can choose whichever 3 opponent is available for you to fight. If you think that anyone of the 3 opponent is too strong then you can reset the opponents, but if you reset too many times it will cost you five gold per time. Battle is also limited to 3 per-time as you only have 10 energy and each battle cost 3 energy to fight (Can be upgraded, so nothing to worry about). Aside from that, the energy recharge is very slow in this game, roughly about 5 minutes per-cycle.
Now we look into the other aspect of the game. Players can choose to shop for items like weapon, cloths and accessories. This is the dress me up part of the game. Little need to be explore here aside from the weapons shop. Always go for the most powerful weapon! It does make a difference.
If you have enough extra cash in your hand, then you can decide to re-design your character’s look. Kind of strange for the designers as you can and I really do mean you can dress until your undergarments in this game. For now I do not really see anything useful in the cloths that are provided except it makes your character stand out. There is no extra protection points provided at any of the cloths you wear. So I guess you can always decide to jump in bare naked to anyone. (You will really stand out among the crowd if you are this crazy)
Other additional features include battle playbacks. If you wish to admire and gloat over your previous battle, all you have to do is to head to profile and replay any battle that you have play through. This is an interesting feature, but not new as it was implemented in Little Warrior as well.
One thing I notice when first starting this game is my Java plug-in actually launched. This is not a flash game, but instead using Java technologies which may explain why the game is in Full 3D. If you look at this game the whole game is using Cell-Shading technology and it looks like an actual normal PC games. This game is really breath taking and no Flash game can ever come close to its beauty. I wish all Facebook games is this beautify. The game actually runs at a very high frame rate and no lagging at all, unless your system is slow. Furthermore Java also allows a few technologies to be implemented like lighting and shadowing.
